Canada-Ohio Business Dinner to spotlight future of wireless, innovation

Robert Crow, an executive with Research in Motion (RIM) Ltd., one of the leading designers, manufacturers and marketers of
innovative wireless solutions for worldwide mobile communications, will be the keynote speaker at the 16th annual Canada-Ohio
Business Dinner on campus Nov. 7. The dinner is one of the University’s premier events for private-sector engagement.
Crow, vice president for industry, government and university relations at RIM, will address the future of the wireless industry
along with other topics such as innovation, entrepreneurship and intellectual property issues, especially in the U.S. and
Canada.
RIM’s portfolio of award-winning products, services and embedded technologies are used by thousands of organizations around
the world and include the BlackBerry® wireless platform, the RIM Wireless Handheld™ product line, software development tools,
radio-modems and software/hardware licensing agreements.
The dinner will take place in 101B Olscamp Hall, beginning with a networking reception at 4:45-p.m., followed by welcoming
remarks and dinner at 6:15 p.m. Crow will speak at 7 p.m. Reservations are $20 per person. Individuals may register online
