Obituary

Paul Makara, 77, a professor emeritus of music performance studies, died Oct. 11 in Bowling Green. A founding member of the Bowling Green String Quartet, he taught at BGSU from 1958-95.
Memorials may be made to the Dr. Paul Makara Scholarship Fund in the BGSU Foundation.

Margaret Aller, 85, died Sept. 30 in Michigan. She worked in University Dining Services for 33 years, retiring as head baker at the union.
