Nuremberg colloquium open to campus

“The Nuremberg War Crimes Trial and Its Policy Implications for Today,” a colloquium to be held on campus Friday and Saturday (Oct. 6 and 7), is now open to any member of the campus community who would like to attend.

Also free and open to the public are presentations of “Children’s Voices: From the Holocaust to Darfur,” by actor Bernard (Buddy) Elias, a first cousin of diarist Anne Frank, at 6 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 5) and 8 p.m. Friday. Both presentations will be in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Theater. The University Women's Chorus, under the direction of Sandra Frey Stegman, will perform “I Never Saw Another Butterfly,” based on poems by children of the Terezin concentration camp.

Wired magazine editor talk postponed

The previously announced Tech Trends lecture on “Technology Trends to Watch and the Long Tail,” by Wired magazine Editor in Chief Chris Anderson, originally scheduled for Oct. 26, has been postponed, Information Technology Services has announced.
