Cap off the week with All-Campus Picnic, Campus Fest
The annual All-Campus Picnic will be held Friday (Sept. 9) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the University Hall lawn.
The campus community is invited for free food and entertainment as we begin the new academic year. Also, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Campus Fest will be held in the Union Oval, featuring University clubs and organizations, volunteer agencies, live music, games and giveaways.
In case of rain, the picnic will be held in Bowen-Thompson Student Union and residence hall dining centers. The Campus Fest rain date will be Sept. 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Oval.
The day's events are sponsored by the Office of the President, Campus Involvement, Dining Services, Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Pepsi, UPS and Kroger.

Workshop planned to help prepare PCA/CITE grant proposals
A grant-writing workshop for those wishing to apply for Partnerships for Community Action or Center for Innovative and Transformative Education support grants will be held from 3-5:30 p.m. next Monday (Sept. 12) in 201 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
The workshop will equip participants with the information required to prepare an application for the 2006 PCA/CITE grants, a competitive program offering up to $5,000 for projects that address community needs and are built on partnerships between BGSU and the community. PCA/CITE programs are based on reciprocity, mutual benefit and equal participation.
A follow-up session will be offered in November prior to the grant deadline on Dec. 5.

Call for Tech Fair participants
The 2005 BGSU Northwest Ohio Technology Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union's Lenhart Grand Ballroom.
