Classified Staff Council tees it up for fun, scholarships

After a picnic luncheon, the annual Classified Staff Council golf outing got under way with a shotgun start June 9 at Forrest Creason Golf Course. A record 28 teams participated this year to raise money for scholarships. Numerous area businesses and University employees also contributed items for a raffle, further boosting the scholarship fund. In all, more than $3,200 was raised by the event.
