University modifies fee waiver policy for faculty and staff
At its final meeting of the academic year May 7, the board of trustees approved changes to the fee waiver policy for faculty, staff and their dependents effective this summer.

Tenure, promotion of faculty reward achievement
In one of the most eagerly awaited annual events, the board granted promotion and, for some, tenure to a number of faculty.

Emeritus status given to retiring faculty
In honor of their accomplishments and service to BGSU, the University trustees conferred emeritus status on 33 retiring faculty.

Presidential search committee named
The BGSU Board of Trustees has formed a committee to help seek the successor to President Carol Cartwright, who will retire in June of 2011.
