Dr. Lillian Ashcraft-Eason, co-founder and former director of the Africana Studies Program, receives a plaque from Dr. Apollos Nwauwa, the current director, and Africana Studies major Whitney Tarver (right). Ashcraft-Eason was recognized for her contributions to the BGSU program and the field at the 11th annual Africana Studies Colloquium March 20.
