A number of extremely rare items related to three early 20th century authors are now located in The Ray and Pat Browne Library for Popular Culture Studies, thanks to a donation from Dr. Gary Hoppenstand, a BGSU alumnus and professor of American Studies at Michigan State University.

Since arriving in July, Dr. Faris Malhas, new dean of the College of Technology, has kept up a demanding pace of getting to know the college and pursuing accreditation for various areas, all while revising his best-selling textbook on structural steel.
