Professor of sociology and statistician, Center for Family and Demographic Research.
Expertise: Applied social statistics and family social psychology. Does research focusing on romantic relationships, including issues surrounding premarital cohabitation, the prediction of marital instability, and the antecedents and consequences of violence in heterosexual relationships.
Credentials: Ph.D. in sociology; master’s degree in statistics; author of two books and published in several journals.
