Dr. Laura Landry-Meyer
Assistant professor of family and consumer sciences (human development and family studies)
Expertise: Family policy; grandparents raising grandchildren; kinship caregiving; lifespan development/human development in family context; collaborative partnerships with social service agencies.
Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in family studies and business, and master’s degree in family studies and education, both from Ohio University; Ph.D. in human development and family science from Ohio State University. Has presented to the National Council on Family Relations and the Gerontological Society of America. Works on program planning and evaluation with various social service agencies in northwest Ohio.

Dr. Lubomir Popov
Associate professor of family and consumer sciences (interior design)
Expertise: Facility programming/planning, interior design, and architecture.
Credentials: Ph.D. in sociology from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences; Ph.D. in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; master’s degree in architecture from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Has presented at a number of conferences, including the Environmental Design Research Association and the Interior Design Educators Council.
