BGSU Magazine Winter 2010

Life Lessons

A call for essays

The essays we received for this issue recall the "Blue-moon moments" that don't present themselves very often. They are the "once-in-a-lifetime opportunities" or "what are the chances?" events that stay with us for a long time.

Next issue’s theme: One Hundred Years and Counting

The theme for our next issue is One Hundred Years and Counting. The momentum of ideas. We're asking readers to help celebrate the continuing momentum of BGSU and its mission by writing about the power and persistence of a single idea across their lifetime. We'd love to hear your personal account of how the spark of an idea has evolved into a full-blown insight or creative accomplishment. Please keep the length of your submission to 500 words or less. The submission deadline is March 15.
