My Personal Mission

When I sat down to address this topic, I first went to my trusty on-line Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary which defines LOST as: to fail to keep in sight or in mind and TRANSLATION as: change to a different substance, form or appearance.

My personal mission is School Is Open Every Day. I want to be the best possible person I can be and to learn something new every day of my life. Sometimes that goal becomes unclear with the ups and downs of daily life. I become focused on what is working perfectly and I find myself glowing from the “successes.” Other times I feel frustrated at what is not working and become disenchanted and focused on the “problems.” All the time not realizing this process is a journey in my life.

The journey for both the “successes” and “problems” are the same, however I sometime lose the translation of what I am trying to achieve. My mission is to learn something new every day and isn’t that what I am doing when I succeed or experience a set back? My interpretation of the experience becomes lost when I become so focused on the results instead of the journey.

Being Lost in Translation is easy to do every day. It is so important to re-evaluate our direction and keep our goal in sight. Enjoy the journey of your life.
