Bethany Nanamaker, a senior political science and international studies major, had a good reason to delay her May 2007 college graduation. What was to be her last semester at BGSU, instead, found her serving in Washington, D.C., as a judicial intern at the Supreme Court of the United States.

From January through April, Nanamaker has been working in the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Justice. She was selected for the Judicial Internship Program, which provides advanced undergraduates and graduating seniors who have interests in law, management and social sciences a unique opportunity to work in the office that assists the chief justice in his overall management of the court.
