BGSU Board of Trustees

|
At BGSU, "shared governance" is a value that is not only espoused, it is indeed practiced. The BGSU Board of Trustees is a
group of eleven individuals (appointed by the Governor) who bring many and varied experiences and accomplishments to the University's
table. In general, the Board of Trustees establishes and monitors the execution of policy that guides the administration in
the day-to-day operations of the university, selects a president, and on his advice, a staff to administer the policy, and
supports the efforts of the President and his staff in relation with the Ohio Board of Regents, members of the state legislature
and state officials.
