The Batchelder Music Community—with practice rooms in the residence hall, regular interactions with music faculty and a location
across the street from the Moore Musical Arts Center—is the ideal place for those who share a passion for music.
Music Community students share day-to-day living experiences, help one another with assignments and attend social and cultural
events together. Residents relax at monthly “open mic” nights and organize additional social and service activities. Not all
Batchelder residents are music majors, but special preference is given to students who are accepted into the College of Musical
Arts.
