About Learning Commons
The Learning Commons – which includes Math & Statistics Tutoring, Study Skills, Writing, and new this fall, a Tutorial Center for any subject area – is a great resource for students.

The William T. Jerome Library is the new home of the Learning Commons, making the one-stop shop for tutoring assistance more accessible and more central to campus. The Learning Commons includes: 

  • 13,565 square feet of study space
  • 38 desktop computers
  • 22 laptop computers for student use within our space
  • 1 Smart Board
  • 1 60 inch monitor for presentations and collaboration

Mission Statement
The Learning Commons provides students with academic resources that foster independent learning.  The highly trained professional, graduate, and undergraduate staff utilizes technology and additional resources to offer individual and group tutoring and consultations tailored to meet the needs of any student in any course at any time in the learning process.

Vision Statement
To be the premier academic resource dedicated to all students graduating with the competence and confidence to utilize the skills, tools and resources available to achieve their goals.

Recent News

We now have a new and improved way to view the Math & Stats tutoring schedule.  We have a listing of all courses, software, and programming languages that the Math & Stats Tutors offer drop-in tutoring for, along with the tutors that can help with each item.  Check out this new page here.

A new drop-in schedule has been published.  See the schedule on the Drop-in page.

You can now check-out a laptop at The Learning Commons.  LC laptops are for use only while in The Learning Commons.
