BGSU will next be up for re-accreditation by
the North Central Association Higher Learning Commission in
2003. Prior to the Commission's action on our
re-accreditation, BGSU will develop a comprehensive
institutional self-study document and undergo a site visit by a
team of NCA consultant-evaluators. Our NCA
re-accreditation plan is in place, committees have been formed
to write chapters of the self-study document, and a BGSU NCA
accreditation web site has ben developed to keep the University
community informed about progress towards these important
activities. Dr. Mark Gromko, Vice Provost for Academic
Programs and I, as the BGSU NCA re-accreditation
co-coordinators, welcome questions and feedback about these
