ICS Writing Visual Culture
Since 2005, the ICS Writing Visual Culture group has met regularly to respond to research writing on visual texts such as film, theatre, medieval art and manuscripts, and religious art. Formed by the Director and new faculty, this group is particularly committed to creating a framework for approaching and analyzing visual texts. Meeting every three to four weeks, members respond to a work-in-progress from one of the participating members. Bring faculty together from across campus and across disciplines, the Writing Visual Culture group offers a venue for dialogues among different academic traditions.
