Remembering the Holocaust

The research cluster "Remembering the Holocaust" is an interdisciplinary workshop that meets monthly to discuss articles and films that deal with the construction of and representation of memory in the arts and humanities with regard to the Holocaust. As the generation who experienced the Holocaust firsthand passes away, we are faced with the question of how to remember the Holocaust. This structured scholarly exchange, in which the groups reads their own and other scholars' theoretical, literary, historical and sociological texts and also considers artistic and musical responses to the Holocaust, which creates a unique forum that enriches the BGSU community.
