ICS Scholars and Artists in Residence

Here at ICS, we wish to offer faculty a rich intellectual and experimental space for testing, evaluating, and producing new critical methodologies, theories, perspectives, techniques and ideas.

We seek to promote scholarly and creative projects in the arts and humanities, where external sources of funding are increasingly limited, as well as in related areas of humanistic inquiry in the social sciences and education.

For this purpose, each year, the Institute awards up to six one-term fellowships for BGSU faculty. Scholars and Artists work in residence, give presentations about their work, and attend ongoing seminars and research meetings. Applications are due in Fall term for the following academic year's fellowships.
