Welcome! My name is Dawn Shores and I am the Assistant Director of the Honors Program.  My responsibilities include recruitment and admissions for the program and providing academic advising for Honors students. I also work with the Honors Program Ambassadors and the Diversity Committee. 

Prior to working at BGSU, I worked in recruitment, admissions, and advising at Tiffin University and in career services at the University of South Florida.  I earned my M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (Anthropology and Psychology) from the University of South Florida. 

My interests outside of higher education include traveling, cooking, golf, watching college football and professional tennis, and spending time with friends.  Since I moved to Ohio, most of my traveling is home to Florida to visit family and friends.
