Each year, HLC members receive a variety of complimentary books to support their participation in book discussions, essay contests, and the “Great Ideas” dinner. Traditionally, members receive a minimum of three books including a copy of the BGSU common reading chosen by a campus committee and two selections (one in fall and spring) chosen by members of the HLC. Next year’s common reading selection will be chosen late Spring 2013. Books chosen by HLC members range from very popular to classic literature. A list of recent books is listed below.
