The Office of Residence Life will mail you detailed information in the spring on selecting housing online. You will automatically be placed in the HLC
if you are in the Honors Program and you select Honors as your first choice when signing up for a residence hall.
If you are an incoming freshman and in the process of applying to the Honors Program -- do not wait for acceptance into the
Program to sign up for the Honors Learning Community.
If you wish to sign up for the Honors Learning Community, you will need to access the web portal after the office of Residence
Life informs you it is available.
Remember, though recommended, it is not necessary for HLC members to live in Harshman Dunbar or to be a member of the Honors
Program. Because of this you must enroll in the Honors Learning Community and sign up for campus housing in separate steps.

New Members:
1. Go to the Residence Life Communities by clicking here.
2. Find Honors Learning Community and "click to enroll".
3. Enter your BGSU ID, Username and Password.
4. Click on "enroll" then "submit".

Existing Members:
1. Gather the following information:

°Student ID
°BGSU Username
°Hall & Room number requested
°Name of preferred roomate
°ID number of preferred roomate

2. Contact the Director of the Honors Learning Community at 419.372.8504 or honors@bgsu.edu
3. Provide the Director with the information from step 1.

Once you have requested to be a member of the HLC, please visit the Office of Residence Life if
you would also like to request on-campus housing.
