Great Ideas Dinners

The Great Ideas Dinners, originally stemming from HNRS 2020: Critical Thinking About Great Ideas curriculum, are co-curricular opportunities for students to develop critical thinking skills, sharpen communication skills, and forge connections across curricular and co-curricular experiences.

Faculty members propose interesting table topics for discussion over a plated dinner. Then, as part of registration, students each choose one of these topics that they are interested in and inform their ideas through supplemental readings, films/videos, etc. to create a rich discussion with their peers and Honors staff and faculty.
