Carrie J. Dulin Memorial Scholarship

Due to the hard work of the Honors Alumni Society, a new scholarship recognizing Honors students’ contributions of service to the BGSU and the Bowling Green community has been established.

The Carrie J. Dulin Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Carrie Jane Dulin, a past Honors student, Tuition Raffle Chair, Peace Corp volunteer, and Medicines sans Frontiers (Doctors without Borders) volunteer.  Carrie was killed in an accident while in Afghanistan and preparing for a new job as a project manager in Nigeria at a malaria clinic for pregnant women and children under 6.  Her involvement in the Honors Program and dedication to service defined her as a remarkable individual and with this memorial scholarship her legacy of service will continue to inspire future generations of Honors students.

We are currently in the phase of raising funds for an endowment to ensure that we can provide this scholarship for multiple academic years.  Our fundraising goal is $25,000 and we need your help!  With an endowment this size we will be able to offer $1,250 a year in scholarship monies.

If you would like to donate to the Carrie J. Dulin Memorial Scholarship Endowment, please download this form and fill in the appropriate information.  Any amount is greatly appreciated and with your donation you are contributing to the growth and development of Honors students.
