Lawrence Zaborski

Lawrence Zaborski, Class of‘’83

Currently living in Boston, Massachusetts

Employed by Harvard Medical School Department of Health Care Policy as a Statistical Programmer / Analyst.

Married to Anne Brown, a Massachusetts native.  We met through a mutual friend in Boston who is a Bowling Green alumna.
Children: Grace (born 2000) and Ben (born 2003).

After BG, I moved to Boston to attend Boston College, initially to study Economics but later Sociology.  I obtained a Master’s degree in the latter subject while working at the university as a computer consultant.  In the early 90’s, I moved to Madison, Wisconsin to earn a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin. I moved back to Boston to work on AIDS clinical trials at Harvard School of Public Health, and later transferred to my current job working on health care research with doctors and social scientists.  I have been employed in this position for about 10 years.

In my free time, I enjoy playing with my kids, listening to a wide variety of music, bicycling, and photography.  I freely admit to being a news junkie.   I am also taking Computer Science classes at Harvard’s evening college and teach Sunday School at my Unitarian church.
