What are some fond memories you have of the BGSU Honors Program?
The Honors Program was the place where I really connected with BGSU. From the first class I took, to the people I met in the Honors residence hall, I felt welcome and part of something significant. Without the Honors Program I would have struggled to make friends. With the help of great advisors and the intentional structure of the program I was able to develop a great sense of confidence in myself and my academic abilities.
What impact did the BGSU Honors Program have on your life?
Having been a part of the Honors Program really helped me to secure my future ambitions. My Honors Project really helped me to gain practice in research, which prepared me for graduate school and beyond. The small class sizes also significantly helped me because I received the personal attention from faculty that was crucial for my learning style. Without those supportive yet challenging professors I could see my life being much different.
If anyone would like to get a hold of me please do not hesitate. I would love to share my experiences about BGSU, Indiana University, Semester At Sea, Colorado, and anything else we might have in common.
