My belief is that the composition classroom should be one that fosters hands-on learning and student participation while enforcing
each step of the writing process. Each class should enable students to understand and improve their writing goals by enforcing
invention, prewriting and revision work. The classroom should be a place that helps students work through each task at hand,
while creating enthusiasm and confidence for the assignment as a whole. It is also important for students to have their own
opinions concerning controversial topics and to use the essay to convince others to see their points of view. My goal is to
create a classroom that is fun, informative and useful, while allowing students to learn more about themselves and the world
around them.
