Inquiry Course Approval Forms and Resources
Steps to Submit NEW Inquiry Courses
The process for submitting an Inquiry course is very similar to the current system used by the Office of the Provost for course additions. Follow the steps below and submit all four completed documents to the Provost's Office.
Remember, Inquiry course proposals that have been approved by college curriculum committees must now be submitted to the general education committee. Contact your college to obtain their recommended date of submission.
Step 1: Download and complete Inquiry Course Request Cover Sheet (a.k.a. blue sheet).
Step 2: Download and complete Course Change Request Form.
Step 3: Download and complete Inquiry Course Proposal Template.
Step 4: Prepare on representative syllabus.
Step 5: Following review and approval by the curriculum committee and the Dean, the original printed documents should be submitted to the Office of the Provost in one package.
