Bowling Green State University and local fire officials work closely in delivering quality fire prevention and response services. The Bowling Green Fire Division conducts full-scale fire training exercises on the Bowling Green campus. These training exercises give firefighters and paramedics valuable experience, and help to assure a fast and effective response to campus buildings in emergency situations.

The Bowling Green Fire Division is a full-service, career department with full-time fire fighting professionals, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, and an inspection bureau. One of two fire stations is located next to the campus. All Bowling Green State University buildings are included in the Fire Division's preparedness pre-plans.
