Education Worth Celebrating

An integral part of the Academic Affairs leadership team, Enrollment Management is responsible for all new and continuing student enrollment strategies, including graduate and undergraduate student recruitment, admissions and retention, financial aid, registration and records, scholarships and tuition discounting, advising services, and international and multicultural student enrollment.

Along with initiatives for BGSU Firelands and distance-learning programs, functions incorporated in this area include:

  • Student Enrollment Communication Center, Advising Services, Career Services, Student Employment Services, Student Money Management and Northwest Ohio Educational Technology (NWOET)
  • Nontraditional Student Services (formerly Adult Learner Services and Veterans Affairs Student Support)
  • New Student Orientation and First Year Programs in partnership with Student Affairs

The Division's mission is to support the Colleges in meeting their enrollment and graduation targets; provide students with high-tech and high-touch academic support and services; and to graduate students ready for 21st century careers and well-prepared for advanced or professional study.

The Division of Enrollment Management is dedicated to expanding the student populations for BGSU enrollment by offering programs and services to recruit and retain students throughout the successful completion of their degree programs.
