On Friday, February 10, 2012, the BGSU community gathers to celebrate student achievement of the University Learning Outcomes through best teaching and learning practices. Faculty, staff, and graduate students demonstrate their teaching and learning strategies and activities, and undergraduate students share their meaningful research and creative activities in all fields of study.
Come to the Fair! Fairgoers will interact with BGSU community members who are demonstrating commitment to student learning and development; for example: New this year─an Undergraduate Student Research Showcase Fairgoers will interact with undergraduate students as they present their research projects.
Keynote Presentations Dr. Todd Zakrajsek will deliver two keynote addresses. The first keynote, about learner-centered teaching, is targeted for BGSU educators; the second keynote, targeted for undergraduate students, centers on research regarding how best to acquire new information: “How Students Learn: Strategies for Engaged Learning,” 11:15-12:30, Lenhart Grand Ballroom and “Enhance Your Academic Potential: How Research Can Help You To Be a Successful and Engaged Learner,” 2:00-3:00, Lenhart Grand Ballroom
