MyBGSU Web Portal Update |

MyBGSU's layout and navigation will be updated on January 16, 2006
MyBGSU is a secure Intranet - Enterprise Portal environment that helps to enhance campus communications and integrate multiple
administrative systems into one centralized environment. All applications and communications will take place in a secure environment,
accessible by authorized audiences only.
Students, faculty and staff will be able to access Web Mail, BlackBoard/E-learning, PeopleSoft HCM, Registration Services,
Financial Services, Meeting Maker and only sign in once.
New portal improvements include the following:
1) Blackboard portlet available on the Welcome tab
2) MyServices portlet moved from right to left column
3) Welcome tab layout changed from three column to two column to reduce clutter
4) Welcome banner removed to reduce clutter
5) MyCourses tab removed since Blackboard is moved to the Welcome tab
6) Global navigation updated to include links to "Blackboard" and "Feedback"
7) Except MyServices, every portlet is customizable and removable
8) Screen resolution is optimized for 1024 by 768 pixels
