MyBGSU (BGSU Intranet) provides an integrated, customizable, one-stop-shop for on-line services and information at Bowling Green State University.

The project's mission is to achieve:

• Unified access to multiple systems - Streamline processes across organizational boundaries by providing unprecedented access to information interrelating multiple systems and databases
• Personalization - Personalized, web-based experience that is tailored by role and job function
• Single access point - Access to virtually all authorized systems and collaboration tools with one password
• Security - Robust security defined by business role or user
• Advanced search & navigation capability - Search and streamlined navigation of multiple databases
• Accessibility - Anywhere, anytime access via Internet and Web browsers
• Administration - No local software installation required. Rapid development of Web-based solutions

MyBGSU phase I implementation was completed on August 2005, and lanuched a month later.  Since then, the project team has been working with campus community to advocate the use of MyBGSU.  The following documents explain what MyBGSU is and why it is beneficial to use it

In January 2007, the University has formed Web Advisory group with the goal to improve MyBGSU. This is really an exciting time as we work closely with the campus community to develop the next generation MyBGSU portal
