Welcome: Here at StudentTech we are pleased to offer BGSU faculty and students individualized support in learning, developing, and using technology.

Drawing upon a resource of graduate and undergraduate students with highly developed technological skills, the Student Technology Center (StudentTech) and Technology Enhanced Classroom Support (TECS) staffs provide the University community access to enhanced academic technology opportunities and support.

StudentTech partners BGSU undergraduate students with their student colleagues and faculty members to provide technology mentoring in a pedagogically focused environment. Faculty may also schedule class workshops led by StudentTech staff. Each workshop is directly linked to a specific course, package of courses, or academic department instructional initiatives.

TECS teams technology-savvy graduate and undergraduate students with faculty on semester-long instructional technology improvement projects with a focus on increased collaboration and instructional technology sustainability.

Student Tech/TECS goals:

• Help faculty and students use technology to their academic advantage.
• Prepare students for lifelong learning involving technology.
• Promote technology literacy in academic initiatives.
• Enhance technology support for faculty.

• Provide real world project management experience for StudentTech/TECS students.
