Festival Date – February 27, 2010
7-9 p.m. 101 Olscamp Hall
The Falcon Film Festival provides BGSU students with the opportunity to document their experiences at BGSU. Students, in teams of four or five, will create a seven to nine minute video creatively displaying life as a student at BGSU. Submitted entries are then reviewed by the steering committee to assure they meet the festival rules. A panel of judges representing the campus and community will then judge the appropriately submitted movies. The top eight movies will be shown on the evening of February 27 and the winners will be announced as a part of the 2010 Falcon Film Festival event.
The purpose of this event is to expose students to resources and technology available to them on campus as well as giving them out of class learning and group project experience. Participation in this contest is open to BGSU students and the festival event is open to the public. All submitted movies are required to meet the movie industry standards for a PG rating, making this event accessible to community attendees of all ages.
