Our film is experiencing bad sound quality.  What can we do to fix this?

When filming in a large room, a crowded location, outside, or just in general it is recommended that a microphone be used to enhance the sound quality.

I am a student in the Fall semester, but will not be a student in Spring.  Can I still participate on a team?

No.  Participation on a team is open to BGSU students only.

Should we include credits in our film?

Adding credits is a great way to show appreciation to your team, actors, and those who assisted in the project.  They are not mandatory.

Do credits count toward the 7 to 9 minutes of film time?

Yes.  The film run time is calculated from the beginning of the film to the end.  All aspects are calculated, including blank space at the beginning and end.  Quicktime shows a counter under the progress bar that will tell you how long the film is from start to finish.

Does the submitted film have to be started and completed in the spring after the information session and equipment sign-out begins?

You may start your planning, storyboarding, filming, etc. at any time.  You will need to work as a team.  So it is suggested that the team be put together and registered first to ensure cooperation and input from all members.
