Since 2005 the Falcon Film Festival has provided an opportunity for BGSU first year students to creatively document their first semester experience.  In addition to the learning experiences provided, teams have a chance to win prizes for their efforts.

Concept

First year students are invited to be a part of a team to produce a 5 - 8 minute video creatively displaying their first year experience.  The movies are reviewed and a select number of movies will be viewed at the Falcon Film Festival event scheduled for Saturday, March 15.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be presented at the Film Festival.

The Falcon Film Festival is pleased to have Jud Laipply as emcee for this year's event.  Many will recognize Jud for his "The Evolution of Dance" performances.  Jud earned his Master's Degree from BGSU and he is sure to add energy to the Falcon Film Festival.
