Bowling Green State University
StudentTech offers color printing services to BGSU students. There are a variety of services available, and prices vary by
service. All services are charged to the student's BG1 Card. When you come in to print, stop at the welcome desk to get assistance
before you try to print anything. Take a look at the sections below to find out more details on each of our services.
Color Photocopies
Cost: $0.25/page for one side and $0.50/page for double sided on 8.5x11 laser paper
Color Document Laser Printing
Cost: $0.50/page (this includes any pages that print only black ink).
File format: Our color printer is hooked up only to a Mac running OS X with a CD-ROM and a zip drive. If you have created your document on a PC we suggest emailing it to yourself as well as creating a PDF of the file (If you don't know how to do this, we can help you when you come in).
CD/DVD Label Printing
Cost: $1.00 for CDs and $3.00 for DVDs (this includes the price of the CD/DVD because we require printing to be done on special CDs/DVDs that work in our printer). We suggest that you buy the CD/DVD and print it before you burn so you get the printing done correctly before you burn either here or somewhere else.
File format: Our color printer uses a program called Discus 3.13G on a Mac running OS X. This program lets you design a label through the software or import an image you have already created or saved. If you are using a saved image, it needs to be on a CD or zip disk and have one of the following file extensions: .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .psd, .tif.

If you need to print more than 10 copies of your CD/DVD, we recommend using DiscMakers

Photo Printing
Cost: $1.00 for 4x6 photo paper and $1.50 for 8.5x11 photo paper.
File format : Photo formats such as .psd, .jpg, .tif, etc. can be saved on a zip, CD, or a USB flash drive.
