The BG@100 ERP Project began in 2003 with the focus of implementing Oracle/PeopleSoft for administrative systems by the university's centennial celebration in 2010. The Human Capital Management (HCM) module was implemented in 2005, followed by the Financial Management System (FMS) in 2007 and Campus Solutions (CSS) for student administration in 2009.
The CSS HCM v9 upgrade project saw the upgrade of the CSS and HCM modules from version 8.9 to version 9.0 on October 11, 2010.
Why Upgrade?
- Completing this upgrade will position BGSU to receive and implement new features
- Completing this upgrade will provide BGSU with the ability to stay compliant with Oracle support
- Completing this upgrade will provide BGSU with a return on investment through the new features available in v9
- Completing this upgrade will provide BGSU with the opportunity to examine and improve business processes

The Higher Education Users Group (HEUG) - is an international organization consisting of Higher Education institutions that use application software from the Oracle Corporation. Its two primary purposes are to facilitate sharing of ideas, information and experiences among its members, and to provide a unified and effective voice to Oracle on all issues involving the use of Oracle application software in the Higher Education community. The HEUG provides a great deal of information for PeopleSoft Users. All are encouraged to explore the information provided via HEUG.
