How do I gain access to FMS?
BGSU employees who will be using the FMS system to complete financial transactions are required to obtain approval for the appropriate security level prior to using the FMS system. The steps below outline how to obtain access to the FMS system.
FMS Security Access Request form
Employees requesting access to FMS may complete the FMS Security Access Request form. Appropriate signatures are required and completed forms should be submitted to the Technology Support Center (TSC), 110 Hayes Hall.
Complete appropriate training
Based on the access being requested, further training may be required. Employees will be contacted by the FMS team with further details regarding the training they will be required to complete.
Some of the training is delivered online and is accessible through MyBGSU. Offering classes in this manner allows the employee to proceed through the material at their own pace and provides the opportunity to review the materials as often as they would like. The FMS Training web page provides an overview of the various FMS training classes that are available.
