To all Faculty, Administrative Staff, and Classified Staff:

During the past eighteen months, Bowling Green State University has been implementing the PeopleSoft system through the BG@100 Project. The changes in BGSU administrative systems will take place over a period of several years, with our human resources and payroll systems "going live,” and moving from the Advantage Human Resources and Payroll System (AHRS) to PeopleSoft, on June 27, 2005. This means that our Human Resources, Payroll, Graduate College, and Student Employment offices will begin entering data directly into the PeopleSoft system on June 27. Although the information in AHRS will still be viewable in certain offices, we will no longer add new data to that system.

We are sending you this information to discuss the changes that the implementation of the PeopleSoft system will bring to you. It is a description of the differences you'll see and feel in human resources, benefits, and payroll. We have divided the information to best address your membership in the BGSU community. The information you receive here will pertain to the primary position you hold at BGSU.

You can find all the information as it applies to all BGSU employees on the BG@100 Web site, http://www.bgsu.edu/BGat100. You are welcomed and encouraged to read about all the changes affecting faculty, administrative, and classified staff members. If you hold a second appointment at BGSU (for example, if you are an administrative staff member who teaches as adjunct faculty), you are especially advised to read the additional sections of the document for any other changes that might affect you.

We hope you share our excitement about the new and improved capabilities that the PeopleSoft system will be bringing to BGSU. If you have any questions about the information listed in this document, please feel free to contact the Office of Human Resources at 372-8421.

Thank you,
The Office of Human Resources

Any questions regarding this information may be directed to the email address of:  BGat100@bgsu.edu Questions/comments received will be appropriately directed to project team members.
