BG@100 HCM - What Does PeopleSoft Bring to Classified Staff |
 |
|
|
-
Automated End-of-Probation Pay Increase
The PeopleSoft system will automatically increase your pay on the actual end date of your probation, regardless of where that
date occurs within a pay period. For example, if your end-of-probation date falls on a Friday, in the middle of a pay period,
you will be paid the probationary rate for the work you did on Monday through Thursday of that week, and paid the higher rate
effective on that Friday.

Time Sheets for Non-Academic Year Nine-Month Employees
If you work on a nine-month schedule that does not follow the academic year, you'll be required to complete a weekly time
sheet. Your status will change in the PeopleSoft system from exception hourly staff to hourly staff, so you'll be paid for
the actual time that you worked, which will ensure your records are accurate.
If you are an intermittent employee, or if you supervise one or more intermittent employees, the number of employee hours
worked will be based on the calendar year (January through December), instead of on the fiscal year (July through June).
The 2005 calendar year will run from July 1 to December 31.
