  The method student employees use to report and schedule their time worked is via a Web-based system called Kronos.  At BGSU, the implementation of this system has been named e-Time for Students.  This system replaces the paper time sheet reporting system.

    During the Spring 2003 semester an e-Time for Students pilot was completed in three campus locations: Facilities, University Libraries, and Student Employment.  Full implementation of e-Time for Students proceeded systematically throughout campus in the following semesters.  A working group of University employees who deal with pay issues was created to oversee the automation of the time card process.  The committees, meeting minutes, and corresponding documentation may be referenced at the links below.

e-Time for Students Conversion to PeopleSoft On June 27, 2005, the University's administrative systems for Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll will be converted from AHRS to PeopleSoft.  In preparation for this conversion, e-Time for Students will be completing a conversion process the weekend prior to this cutover.  The system will be unavailable from 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, June 19 until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21.  Please refer to the following three pages for needed details regarding this conversion.

eTime Classes Offered by Continuing & Extended Education

Continuing & Extended Education (CEE) will be offering sessions of the Introductory eTime for Students class for faculty and staff. Advance registration is required. Registration may be completed by calling CEE at 2-8181 and asking to register for the "Intro to eTime for Studentts" class.

This class is designed for those who may be new to the eTime for Students system as an eTime Approver (ETA) or those who may have been working with the system for a while but would like to refresh their skills or learn new skills. There are no prerequisites for the class. However, each participant must have a completed and approved eTime Security Action Request form processed by the Payroll Department before attending the class.
