Technology Support Center (TSC) Primary point of contact for technical questions associated with BGSU desktop hardware and software, network connections, BGSU accounts, campus Web accounts, and class accounts.
Classroom Support Obtain help for any classroom related problem including audio, video, and technology related problems.
TSC Self Help Collection of forms to request service, quick reference guides, FAQs, reference manuals and related links arranged by topic for services commonly provided by the Technology Support Center.
Computer Labs Information regarding location and hours of operation for ITS computer labs.
Computer Lab Reservations Information regarding means by which to reserve a computer lab for instructional purposes.
My BGSU Web Portal My BGSU is the primary means for communicating selected academic and administrative information to students, faculty, and staff at BGSU.  A BGSU account is necessary to authenticate and access My BGSU.
Student Technology Center Student Tech focuses on helping students use technology to their academic advantage.  Workshops, tutors, tutorials, skill development sessions, digital video checkout program,  laptop loan program based on financial need, and a monthly special event program are some of the services offered. 

 

Atomic Learning Video Tutorials Application specific tutorials available in an online video format.

 

Firelands Technology Support Office of Technology Support Services for those at the BGSU Firelands campus.
Blackboard A Web portal customized to promote distance learning at BGSU.  Allow instructors to create and manage course Web sites.  Allows instructors and students to communicate and collaborate through real-time chats, threaded discussions, class e-mail, and online file exchange.  Interactive distance education for all learners (ideal) provides support for distance education using Blackboard.
Residential Computing Connection (RCC) Provides computer labs and in-room network connection services to on-campus residents.

Digital Video Streaming Services (DVSS) Point of contact for digital video services.  Digital video may be streamed to a classroom, desktop, or residence hall and viewing is controllable by viewer.  Online catalog available to search available programs and also to schedule program for use.

Instructional Media Services (IMS) Multimedia Production Services
Produces graphic artwork, photography, videos, and multimedia creations.

Audiovisual Distribution Services
Provides audiovisual equipment for rental and distribution for faculty, staff, and students.
Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) Dedicated to supporting faculty and graduate student instructors who strive to achieve excellence in teaching through innovation, collaboration and creative solutions. As a research and development unit, also provides the kind of support and interactive environment that encourages faculty to be leaders as scholars in their disciplines.

Microsoft Software Via an agreement between Microsoft and 15 four-year institutions in the IUC (Inter-University Council of Ohio), some Microsoft software is available for installation on univeristy owned systems, personally-owned systems for students, and personally-owned systesms for faculty and staff.
Security and Privacy Information regarding Acceptable Use Policies, Information Security, Information Safety & Privacy Issues, Laws & Legislation, Wireless Information & Policies, Virus Information, Spam Information and Security Tips.
Telephones Information regarding on-campus telephone systems, service requests, voicemail system and BG call cards.
Training Training opportunities provided by various areas across campus.
