As of this web update, the BG@100 project team is planning to move on October 11 into the building located at 414 E. Wooster
Street. The AAA formerly occupied this building. The new location is being called the BG@100 Project Office. It has been requested
that any campus mail for the project office be addressed as 'BG@100, 414 E. Wooster'. BG@100 team members can continue to
be reached via their current campus phone numbers. A Marlok access control system is being installed which will help to manage
entrance to the building. Numerous private citizens still come to the building expecting to find the AAA office. The Marlok
system will protect the computer assets inside as well as limiting unexpected customers. A door bell will be installed outside
the back door of the building to announce visitors. Also, a request has been made to remove the AAA sign in the front of the
building.
The BG@100 Project is currently planning and implementing the first phase of the HCM product line which is PeopleSoft's acronym
for Human Capital Management. HCM is comprised of Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll. There are several methods that the
project team is using to communicate its progress and allow university students, faculty and staff to communicate with us.
The primary method of communication is this Project Web Site that can be most easily accessed through the BG@100 Quick Link.
The project web site is updated monthly at a minimum. If you have an interest in keeping current with the project's status,
it is recommended that you request to be added to a listproc that Cindy Fuller maintains. When the project web site is updated
for any reason, a message is sent to the listproc indicating exactly what has been added or updated. Please send your email
address to
cfuller@bgsu.edu to be added to the listproc.
At any time you may send your project related questions or comments via email to
BGat100@bgsu.edu. You will either receive an email response or a personal phone call as a follow up to your email.
Open forums are held periodically so that university students, faculty and staff may ask their questions in person. The forums
are advertised on the project web site under the
Communications hot link. The forums are also announced in the Marketing and Communication email, in the
Monitor, and listed on the Events calendar.
The
Connect newsletter, which is published five times a year, will always contain an article on the BG@100 project.
There are also brief project updates in every
Monitor edition. With a few exceptions, the
Monitor is published every Monday throughout the year.
These are the methods that apply to all students, faculty , and staff. Other special meetings occur periodically which may
be referenced in the
Communication Plan .
If you have suggestions on how the project team may improve communications, please email your suggestions to
BGat100@bgsu.edu.
