BG@100 CSS Sneak Peek #16

View Financial Aid To Do List

Synopsis

The BG@100 project will be implementing the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) system as the Student Administration ‘system of record’ in a phased implementation plan from August 2008 – August 2009.  Details are accessible at the BG@100 web site: www.bgsu.edu/bgat100.

Student enrollment information, the course catalog, class registration, financial aid processing, Bursar processing and Admissions application processing for Summer 2009 and following will be processed using CSS.  As a result, users may experience or see some processing taking place in the legacy system for Spring 2009 as modules continue to be transitioned to CSS during the early months of 2009.

Questions regarding the implementation are welcomed and may be directed to BGat100@bgsu.edu

This Sneak Peek was created during the BG@100 CSS implementation and was accurate as of the time of publication.  As the phased implementation progresses, some of the information presented in this Sneak Peek may be subject to change. Please consider this document accurate as of the time of publication and be aware that changes and updates to the system may have taken place since the creation of this document.

Details

In April 2009, Student Financial Aid will transition to the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) system.  All Financial Aid awards for the 2009-2010 Aid Year will be processed from this system.  This transition will bring several changes to the means by which users obtain Student Financial Aid information.  This Sneak Peek outlines how users may obtain information using the new system.

Students may view their Financial Aid information by going to MyBGSU and opening Student Center.

If there are any items for a student "To Do" in order to process financial aid, they will be listed in the To Do List to the right of the screen in Student Center.

To Do List

Selecting the To Do List will navigate the user to a screen providing more detail for each To Do Item.  The page will be similar to the example provided below.
