View Financial Aid
Synopsis
The BG@100 project will be implementing the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) system as the Student Administration ‘system of record’ in a phased implementation plan from August 2008 – August 2009. Details are accessible at the BG@100 web site: www.bgsu.edu/bgat100.
Student enrollment information, the course catalog, class registration, financial aid processing, Bursar processing and Admissions application processing for Summer 2009 and following will be processed using CSS. As a result, users may experience or see some processing taking place in the legacy system for Spring 2009 as modules continue to be transitioned to CSS during the early months of 2009.
Questions regarding the implementation are welcomed and may be directed to BGat100@bgsu.edu

In April 2009, Student Financial Aid will transition to the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) system. All Financial Aid awards for the 2009-2010 Aid Year will be processed from this system. This transition will bring several changes to the means by which users obtain Student Financial Aid information. This Sneak Peek outlines how users may obtain information using the new system.
Students may view their Financial Aid information by going to MyBGSU and opening Student Center. They may then locate the Finances section and select the View Financial Aid link.

Additionally, this same information is available from the link under the MyServices menu entitled Financial Aid Status (2009-10 Aid Year).

The student will then be directed to the Select Aid Year to View web page. Only the appropriate terms will be visible to the user and they are directed to select the aid year they wish to view.

Once the Aid Year link has been selected, the student will be navigated to the Award Summary page. The user can view all applicable financial aid awarded on this page. The student can see what was offered and what was accepted by aid year.

The Award Summary information is also available for viewing by Term.

On both the Award Summary by Year and the Award Summary by Term pages users will have the ability to Accept or Decline Awards by selecting the Accept/Decline Awards button in the bottom right corner of the page.

On the Award Package page users will have the option to Accept All, Decline All, Clear All or Update Totals. Once selections have been made, users are directed to select the Submit button.

The student will then receive a confirmation screen indicating that the submission was successful. The student is also now given the option of proceeding to complete the Master Promissory Note or returning to do it later.
