The following Student Records Training Track Checklists have been created in order to assist users in identifying the appropriate CSS training to be completed dependent on individual job role and responsibility.. Please see the descriptions below to determine the checklist appropriate for your job responsibilities and then follow the link to review a checklist detailing the appropriate training courses and security access form requirements.
Training Track: Advisement Self Service
This training track will acquaint those who advise students with the functions that are available to them through the Self Service component of Campus Solutions (CSS)

- Content covers such areas as academic information, emergency contacts, enrollment appointments, unofficial transcripts, transfer credit reports, and how to remove a mandatory advising hold.
- Advising staff wishing to have this access must submit a Student Records Security Form signed by their supervisor requesting the role BG_ADVISOR.

Training Track: View Access to Course Catalog and Schedule of Classes
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- View course catalog information in CSS. This includes the historical course data used in the initial implementation as well as current course catalog information.
- View class section information in the Schedule of Classes

Training Track: Enrollment View
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- View data on key screens dealing with a student's enrollment, including but not limited to institutional calendar tables, academic structure tables, student enrollment appointments, course/class searches, enrollment pages, enrollment summaries, study lists, program plan information (college and major information), student milestones (placement information), term activations, term history (withdrawals, academic standing, term and cumulative statistics, student degrees, student advisors)

Training Track: Internal Module View
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- View key student data pages pertaining to enrollment and other academic information.

- Maintenance of enrollment screens and view access to the following: institutional calendar tables, academic structure tables, student enrollment appointments, course/class searches, enrollment summaries, study lists, program plan information (college and major information), student milestones (placement information), term activations, term history (withdrawals, academic standing, term and cumulative statistics, student degrees, student advisors)

Training Track: Advisor Maintenance
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- Maintain student advisor information. This role is meant for members that need to maintain advisor information only. If there are other pieces of student data you previously maintained in SIS, please review the other available roles to see if a broader role more closely meets your needs.

Training Track: Program Plan Maintenance
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- Maintain program plan information in CSS which includes college, major, minor and specialization information. This is information that would previously have been maintained on the SIS STU1 screen
- Maintain term activation which prepares a student for enrollment
- Maintain student advisor information

Training Track: Service Indicator Maintenance
Staff members completing this training track will be able to do the following:

- Maintain non-financial service indicator (hold) information for their college or support office.
