The June BG@100 Open Forum is scheduled for Thursday, June 5 at 1:30 p.m. in 315 Bowen-Thompson Student Union. This open
forum will feature an introduction to the BG@100 Campus Solutions Academic Structure.
Academic Structure is the foundation of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules and their function. It encompasses the institution's
schools and colleges, academic programs and departments, and subject areas. The Academic Structure serves as the basis for
the course catalog and schedule, grading scheme, and all related tables that must be created prior to implementation. In
the presentation BG@100 project team members will explain the primary components of BGSU's Academic Structure, explain the
relationship of these components, and compare these components to the current Student Information System (SIS) components.
All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend this open forum. Please encourage any colleagues who may be affected
by the CSS implementation to attend. In addition to this presentation, project team members will be available to answer questions
regarding BG@100 and the Campus Solutions implementation that will begin to be phased in beginning in August 2008.

The Executive Steering Committee has recently approved two Action Items. They are:

All are invited to attend the next BG@100 Open Forum, which will be held on Thursday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. in 315 Bowen-Thompson
Student Union. This open forum will provide attendees with an introduction to the CSS (Student) PeopleSoft module that will
begin a phased implementation at BGSU beginning in August 2008. Attendees will be provided with information about the Academic
Structure that will be a part of CSS as well as an introduction to the modules that will be implemented in phases throughout
the next year - Admissions, Student Records, Student Financials, and Financial Aid. All interested faculty, staff, and students
are invited to attend this session. In addition to the presentation, project team members will be available to answer questions
regarding the project and implementation.

The Student Fit Gap schedules located on the BG@100 home page (http://www.bgsu.edu/BGat100) have been updated to include the week of August 20-23. As this is the first week of classes, no fit gap sessions have been
scheduled during this week.
A Student Records Fit Gap session originally scheduled for the afternoon of August 15 has been moved to the morning of August

- FMS Security Request Forms are available at: http://www.bgsu.edu/offices/cio/page26203.html. The forms are provided as a resource for any employee who has been assigned to an FMS role and has attended training however,
did not receive the FMS Security Request Form. It is essential that all who need access to FMS submit an appropriately completed
form as soon as possible in order to have the request proceed through the approval process.
- Action Item FMS-A010, "Report Distribution for Month-end Reports' has been updated to reflect ESC's approval of Alternative
#3 rather than Alternative #2 as previously recorded http://www.bgsu.edu/offices/cio/page14562.html.
The BG@100 project team is also providing opportunities for FMS users to attend open labs in order to receive assistance in
completing transactions in FMS.
On Wednesday, February 7 and Thursday, February 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. the BG@100 trainers will be available in the
BG@100 project office to assist any FMS user in completing FMS transactions. Users are invited to bring their actual work
to enter into production during the time of these two open sessions.

dates during which systems may experience changes or outages in order to complete necessary preparations.

required to complete processing such as Creating a Blanket Requisition, Creating a Multi-line Requisition, etc.
